This internally-built system has been designed to provide asset organization and archiving, workflow management, and product creation and fulfillment capabilities.

The launch of DL3 is a great example of our commitment to support the most efficient creation of all worldwide home media products starting from the receipt of a single electronically received master, all within a fast and secure production environment,” says Brian Kenworthy, VP Digital Distribution at Deluxe. “DL3 also has significant storage and management capabilities that enable our clients to quickly and cost effectively re-purpose their assets for the digital media future.”

Supported DL3 product lines include a range of digital distribution formats for portals and broadcasters, Blu-ray and DVD. DL3 encompasses integrated service lines including creative design services, subtitling, foreign language dubbing, video compression, Blu-ray and DVD authoring, digital distribution encoding and delivery, and others.

Given the ever decreasing windows for delivering localized subtitling and foreign language content across theatrical, home entertainment and broadcast – the implementation of DL3 is a huge asset that will help us deliver real benefits to our customers,” offers Ron Horwitz, VP & GM Localization and Audio at Deluxe. “For localization services, DL3 has been designed with a ‘create once, re-purpose always’ approach to assets, something we believe will be invaluable in a digital media future.”

Deluxe staffs more than 1,500 full-time employees and 3,000 language translators in support of its DVD, Blu-ray and digital distribution content services. The company’s monthly capacity exceeds 350 DVD, 100 Blu-ray and 18,000 digital distribution projects per month. It provides services to major Hollywood studio.
