Based on Sandforce 2281 controller and made of Intel HET MLC Nand Flash, Pluto SW 3 proves performance and reliability during CoreRise enterprise CR-E tests and evaluations.
Carrying Comay Enterprise grade features, such as Host Power Loss Protection and Performance & Disk Monitoring Software, it is a cost-effective solution for enterprise users.
Adopting Enterprise Controller+ Enterprise Nand Flash+ Enterprise Firmware+ Enterprise Interface, it will be available in 1Q12, according to CoreRise roadmap.
These SSDs has not been denominated and will offer enterprise grade features such as SMART, bytes per sector exceeding 512B, etc.
Note: eMLC is a multi-level NAND flash technology set between SLC and MLC). SLC offers a 100,000 PE-cycle and MLC offers 3,000 to 5,000 PE-cycle. In comparison, eMLC offers a 30,000 PE-cycle while it is about a half of SLC cost.

Suzhou CoreRise Electronics Corporation, based in Suzhou, Jiangsu
Province, 85km to Shanghai, began to work on PCI-e interface-based
products with FPGA controller in 2008 and was founded in April 2010.
CEO is Zhiheng Chen and CMO Condi Chen.
Synetic is its distributor in Canada.
It first produced Indilinx-based SSDs and last year built an automatic mass production line with quality control system.
The Chinese company has three SSD product lines, for enterprise (SLC
Pluto up to 240GB), consumers (MLC Venus up to 480GB) and industry (SLC
Jupiter up to 240GB), in 2.5-inch form factor, with SATA interfaces and
using LSI SandForce controllers. It also offers customized 2.5-inch and
1.8-inch models for OEMs with controllers from LSI SandForce, Eastwho or
Indilinx, and interface like SATA, IDE, ZIF, micro SATA, etc.
