Total Defense Adds Online Backup

Total Defense, Inc., provider of anti-malware detection and anti-crimeware solutions, announced its Total Defense Internet Security Suite, Total Defense Anti-Virus, Total Defense PC Tune-up, Total Defense Mobile Security and Total Defense Online Backup.

 
The company is delivering on its commitment to go beyond protection by now including cloud-based scanning along with increased protection for mobile devices plus more features that protect the digital lives of consumers.

Internet Security Suite provides virus protection against malware, spyware, spam, inappropriate content, lost files, and data corruption.

New features include:

• Cloud Defense Scanner for increased detection of malware with cloud-based scanning
• Download Protection for Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox, provides real-time verification of Web sites and notifies visitors of potentially dangerous downloads
• Download Defender delivers an automatic scan of all downloads and ensures infected files are quarantined before they can cause harm
• Social Network Defense provides real-time detection and protection from dangerous links in social network sites
• Drive-By Threat Defender delivers real-time protection from hidden malware placed on legitimate Web sites by cyber-criminals

Total Defense Anti-Virus offers integrated anti-virus and spyware capabilities, guarding PCs from worms, FakeAV, Trojans and other malware that can slow down or even damage the system. Also included in Anti-Virus is virus protection for tablets and mobile phones, as well as the Cloud Defense Scanner and Download Defender features.

Total Defense PC Tune-Up is designed to eliminate slow start-ups and keep computers operating at performance, while improving the stability of the system. PC Tune-Up now features faster scan speeds and Download Accelerator for faster downloads from the Internet, while also eliminating bugs, unnecessary start-up processes and junk files.

Online Backup
Total Defense Online Backup is a cloud-based solution for anytime, anywhere access to files from a PC or mobile device, with one-click file sharing and data recovery. Featuring unlimited version history for music, photos, documents and address books, as well as secure file sharing over the Internet, Online Backup ensures files will never be lost and can be stored locally or on an external storage device. Users can also back up multiple PCs with a single account.

Total Defense Mobile Security integrates Internet security solutions with GPS-guided device location capabilities and remote handset management features. Mobile Security provides real-time protection against viruses, spyware, hackers, spam, phishing, and other Internet threats that can jeopardize privacy and damage mobile devices. The software also provides theft protection, mobile activity monitoring and backup and recovery of personal information. In addition, Mobile Security features an online portal where users can view text messages, photos and call logs.
