Dave Withers Senior VP Global Field Ops, Nebula

Led Dell storage business in U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Nebula, Inc., developer of hardware appliance that will enable enterprises to deploy large scale private cloud computing infrastructures, announced that former Dell executive Dave Withers has joined the company’s executive team as Senior Vice President of Global Field Operations.

nebula_dave_withers A veteran of multiple successful startâ€?ups, Withers has a proven track record building sales and field operations teams from the ground up, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving market expansion for disruptive technologies.

"Dave’s experience building multiple startâ€?ups into successful enterprise companies brings us one giant leap closer to accomplishing that mission."

Withers joined Nebula from Dell, where he led the storage business in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Withers joined Dell via the acquisition of Ocarina Networks, a storage technology vendor, where he was Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development.

Prior to Ocarina Networks, he was the Senior Director of Business Development at Isilon Systems leading up to an IPO and acquisition by EMC for $2.2 billion in 2010.
