BiTMICRO Establishes Indian Subsidiary
That augments existing R&D

The move is part of the company’s expansion of its chip and storage network system development and support services.
With the formation of BNSI, BiTMICRO has established a new centre of excellence for digital design, analog mixed signal design, ASIC physical layout and testing that augments existing research and development capabilities. The new subsidiary strengthens the ability of the company to carry out the entire chip development cycle in-house.
BiTMICRO will also increase its capabilities by pursuing software and firmware development in its India office. These efforts will include network storage management, operating systems, file system organization, public key Infrastructure, database support, and integrated web functions.

We wanted to tap their technological expertise to support our chip and storage network system development so we can sustain our drive to create the most advanced SSD storage solutions for all markets and to provide excellent 24 x 7 customer service worldwide," said Rey Bruce, CEO of BiTMICRO Networks.
BiTMICRO sees huge business potential in the Asia Pacific region so to effectively serve the market, BNSI will also house additional support infrastructure such as customer support and sales and marketing teams.
BiTMICRO Networks now has more than 200 employees worldwide with offices in Fremont, California, Manila, Philippines and Hyderabad, India.
