ConsumerSoft Rolls Out My Backup Drive

ConsumerSoft announced the release of My Backup Drive, their new product and entry into the online backup market.

My Backup Drive provides an online backup solution for home users.

ConsumerSoft has combined high-speed data centers with software to make online backup simple. The My Backup Drive service also lets users access their files online, includes unlimited file versioning, an automated backup schedule, and the option to make local backups too.

"We are very excited to announce the release of My Backup Drive," said Robert Thompson, EVP of Product Development for ConsumerSoft. "With this new product, we have a complete solution for PC maintenance, tech support, and now online backup," continued Thompson. "My Backup Drive is also a strong competitor with better features and faster backup and restoration speeds than other services."

My Backup Drive includes also provides secure encryption, unlimited versioning (saving all versions of a single file), and web access for all their customers. ConsumerSoft cites increasing bandwidth speed, decreasing storage costs, and strong consumer interest in cloud services as motivating forces behind their newest offering.

The company recently launched My Faster PC 6, the newest version of their popular PC maintenance software, and launched My Phone Support in 2010, a remote technical support service.
