Backzup Service Ltd., an online backup provider, has announced that after a month of being in presence, it is protecting the data of over 20,000 customers with Backzup.com.

Backzup hopes to continue growing and gain a bigger share of the online backup market.

Kevin Hernandez, the CEO of the company said that one of the reasons behind the company’s success is the free 512 GB disk space that it is offering. He said that this plan has been very popular among the customers and the company has decided to keep offering it, unlike some other backup service providers that initially offer free space to attract customers and later start charging them.

Backzup offers 5 different plans to its customers. It offers 512GB disk space totally free. Other plans are 1TB, 1.5TB, 2TB and unlimited space for $0.99/month, $1.49/month, $1.99/month and $2.49/month respectively.

Commenting on the few initial reports about the company, Hernandez said: "Immediately after our launch, we were given some bad reviews by a few blogs, which were totally based on skepticism about our free 512GB plan. This is cruel and can be threatening to the reputation of a company that is just launching. Despite these hardships, Backzup was able to win the love and trust of over 20,000 people due to its excellent service and world class customer support."
