The patent number 5,414,650 that could be violated is Parsing information onto packets using context-insensitive parsing rules based on packet characteristics filed on March 24, 1993 by Peter J. Hekhuis and assigned to Compression Research Group, Inc.
Behind this action there is Acacia Research Group LLC in Frisco, TX that acquired this patent in June 2001 and sells it to Compression Technology Solutions in August 2011.
