i365 Becomes EVault

"i365, a Seagate Company, becomes EVault, a Seagate Company", that’s what you can read on the first page of the web site of EVault, Inc.

Seagate Technology acquired for an undisclosed amount the provider of online backup and recovery solutions EVault.

In 2008, Seagate creates a new company, i365, replacing Seagate Services (EVault, MetaLINCS, and Seagate Recovery Services).

The company has never revealed revenues corresponding to EVault, Seagate Services and then i365, probably too small in comparison with its core business, HDD manufacturing.
