Buffalo Partners With Trend Micro
To provide anti-virus for business NAS

announced it has partnered with anti-virus software specialist Trend Micro to
provide solution for its NAS
TeraStation range.
Trend Micro
NAS Security protects the Buffalo TeraStation from becoming host to viruses,
Trojans, bots and other malware, offering real time protection, performance
and low processing overheads. The partnership will see Buffalo’s TeraStation
III and TeraStation Pro users benefit from centralised virus/malware scanning,
pattern updates, event reporting and configuration, preventing hackers from
stealing sensitive data such as email addresses and passwords.
The software
is pre-installed and can be purchased as a one, three or five year subscription
package. Trend Micro NAS Security is managed through a web-based
console and offers users real time updates ensuring systems are safeguarded
from the latest online threats.
