Whamcloud and Penguin Sign Lustre Support Agreement

The agreement will allow a range of cooperation on Penguin’s HPC cluster solutions and Penguin’s on-demand HPC cloud service, known as Penguin Computing On-Demand (POD). Support services will begin immediately.
The University of Delaware has deployed a 50 TFLOP cluster with a Lustre storage solution from Penguin. Penguin’s ability to provide a range of software, hardware and integration services for building high-end clusters was a key selling point. Whamcloud will help Penguin ensure that the University of Delaware gets world-class support for their Lustre cluster file system.
