Available in 2TB and 4TB capacities, the CloudStation, powered by PogoPlug from Cloud Engines, Inc., is an out of the box, 2-bay plug and play device, enabling users to store, access and share multimedia content such as photos, videos and music. Providing users have an internet connection via a Web browser, mobile device or social media outlet, users can share content with anyone, anywhere.
The CloudStation, which is DLNA certified and Time Machine compatible, marks Buffalo’s entry into the cloud storage market and provides the ability to set up an affordable personal cloud in less than 60 seconds.
The CloudStation, which has no service fees, can display PDF, Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents without additional software and allows users to give friends space of their own to store and access files. The device uses a 26-digit personal identifier code along with encryption for cloud access so content remains safe and secure.
Paul Hudson, Sales Director for Northern Europe at Buffalo Technology comments: "The way we store, access and share data is rapidly moving beyond traditional channels. Buffalo’s CloudStation delivers on the promise of data mobility and allows your content to be securely stored and shared with anyone, anywhere."
