Margaret Dawson VP Marketing, Symform

Symform, Inc. has appointed Margaret Dawson as vice president of marketing.

 A 20-year veteran of the industry, Dawson brings global marketing leadership to Symform based on her experience at start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft and Amazon.com. Dawson will lead Symform’s marketing strategy, elevating the brand and serving as an evangelist for the company’s cloud storage model.

Prior to Symform, Dawson spearheaded product management and marketing for Hubspan, provider of business-to-business cloud integration services. She has also held senior level communication roles at Microsoft, Amazon.com, Aventail Corporation and The Weber Group (now Weber-Shandwick). Globally, Dawson spent ten years in the Greater China region, consulting with IT companies and government agencies in addition to serving as a foreign correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine.

A speaker and technologist, Dawson was recently appointed to the Cloud Connect 2012 advisory board, and is a frequent author and presenter on cloud computing, network security, integration and other business and technology themes.
