The following is the most current information regarding the impact of the flooding in Thailand on the Asahi Glass Co. Ltd.‘s (AGC) operations.

The AGC Group manufactures and sells flat glass, automotive glass, electronics and chemicals in Thailand.

AGC Electronics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (AETH) produces glass substrates for HDDs at Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya, central Thailand. Currently, it has suspended its operations due to the flooding.

AGC Group companies other than AETH are operating in accordance with their customers’ production status, while paying attention to employee safety. No injuries have been reported at present.

Concerning operations from today onward, the AGC Group will make decisions while carefully monitoring the situation.
