Systems Corp. announced a distribution agreement with Harwood
International, a solutions-focused distributor with experience in storage solutions and a track
record of service and support.
Under the terms of the agreement, Harwood will distribute
Dot Hill’s AssuredSAN storage arrays, and AssuredUVS
storage virtualization products that are designed to address the storage
requirements of entry- to mid-level markets.
Based in Chattanooga, Tenn.,
Harwood has been delivering leading IT solutions for more than 36 years to more
than 9,000 customers in 92 countries, by offering storage
solutions to its customers, partners and resellers.
"Harwood provides
Dot Hill with access to an expanded reseller base that is very experienced in
delivering storage solutions. With an impeccable reputation for service,
Harwood has built strong ties with a dynamic midsize enterprise reseller
community," said Brad Painter, vice president of channel sales, Dot
Hill. "Given Harwood’s history and
proven success with resellers, and Dot Hill’s nearly three decades of
delivering innovative storage and software solutions – this pairing is a
perfect match."
"This new
partnership is exciting because Dot Hill’s market-leading AssuredSAN product
offers a number of highly compelling enterprise-level features, including
demonstrated 99.999% reliability. The newest addition of the 3003 storage line
allows us to offer our reseller community one of the fastest entry-level
storage arrays on the market – perfect for demanding workloads in both the rich
media and virtual desktop environments," said Larry Harwood, president
of Harwood International Corporation. "Dot
Hill is also clearly focused on investing in areas that make a difference to
our partners – such as ease of doing business, lead generation and great
margins – and we’re in turn excited to help extend the company’s reach into
more resellers’ portfolios."
