Virtual Instruments Launches Channel Program

For its SAN monitoring solution

Virtual
Instrument
introduced its Virtual
Instruments Partner (VIP) Program
, designed to help channel partners engage
with target accounts and strengthen their relationship with customers
implementing business-critical applications in physical, virtual and private
cloud environments.

"As virtualisation and private cloud
deployments for business-critical applications increase, channel partners are
challenged with increasingly complex skill set requirements and greater
resource requirements in order to meet changing market needs,
" said
Todd Osborne, director of global partner sales and alliances for Virtual
Instruments. "With that in mind,
we’ve created a comprehensive offering – the VIP Program – specifically to make
it easy for channel partners to leverage Virtual Instruments hardware, software
and service solutions and provide visibility to customers’ evolving
infrastructure performance and availability challenges.
"

The VIP Program is customisable for each channel partner’s
unique business requirements, level of engagement and commitment. Through the
Program, channel partners can leverage Virtual Instruments’s VirtualWisdom
virtual infrastructure optimisation solution, a real-time monitoring
solution that helps companies optimise the performance,
availability and utilisation of their SANs and virtualised infrastructures.

One element of the VIP Program is the VIP Web Portal, which provides
direct, exclusive access to sales tools, marketing documents, and sales
incentives, as well as product details, technical education, and online
support.

"Deploying server
and storage virtualisation can be complex and may have inherent risks. Virtual
Instruments helps us mitigate any perceived risks by giving visibility to the
I/O of the heterogeneous physical infrastructure from server to storage
,"
said Rene LaVigne, President and CEO of Iron
Bow Technologies
. "The new
VIP program gives Iron Bow the opportunity to leverage knowledge of the
infrastructure and design, acquire and build the best possible solution for our
customers.
"

"The overwhelming
majority of business-critical virtualisation projects are deployed on Fibre
Channel SANs. Ensuring performance and availability SLAs in virtualised
environments built upon FC SANs is of prime importance to our enterprise
customers,
" said Howard Evans, vice president at Dallas Digital Services (DDS). "Virtual Instruments has provided substantial
on-going support to help us expand our business and increase sales. The new VIP
Program and Web Portal give us easy access to the sales, marketing and training
tools that will improve our productivity and shorten the sales cycle.
"

All VIP partners can participate in opportunity registration
and receive discounts with no prerequisites.

Partners can:

  • Earn rewards and discounts
  • Participate in Virtual Instruments services assessments
  • Take advantage of marketing development funds
