Insight Solutions Provider Coveo Turns to Nexsan E60

Nexsan Corporation announced Insight Solutions provider Coveo Solutions, Inc.
has turned to Nexsan to support its needs for flexible, performance
storage.

Most recently, Coveo deployed the Nexsan E60 E-Series
storage system to add more capacity to its infrastructure while supporting its
future growth.

For its IT environment, Coveo purchased the Nexsan E60 E-Series storage system
with 60 1TB SATA disk drives. The system is deployed in the network with fibre
channel, using RAID10 technology for high-transaction performance. The new E60
E-Series system is based on Nexsan’s Flexible Storage Platform, allowing a
single 4U system to scale up to 180TB while delivering up to 87% power savings
with AutoMAID Level 4 power management. It supports virtualized
operating environments with I/O performance and is designed to
enhance long-term reliability.

High Performance: The Nexsan E60 supports 10GbE connectivity and
features two RAID engines per controller for fast sequential and random I/O
performance.
Capacity and Density: The Nexsan
E60 offers the option to extend the storage capacity of its 4U E60 up to 180TB.
Active Drawer Technology: This approach to extreme density simplifies the maintenance of a high
density system by offering specially designed cables for continuous operation
even when one of three self-contained drawers is momentarily opened so a single
person can perform disk and fan service.
AutoMAID
Technology: This technology delivers ‘Speed with Green’ for up to
87% reduction in power consumption without performance compromise for
applications such as backup to disk and data archiving.
Virtualization Support: The Nexsan E60
is VMware-certified.
