CloudBerry Explorer allows end users to accomplish simple tasks without technical knowledge, automate time-consuming tasks to improve productivity.

Amazon has recently added a feature that helps encrypt the object on the server side. Amazon S3 Server Side Encryption (SSE) provides you the ability to encrypt data stored at rest in Amazon S3. With Amazon S3 SSE, you can encrypt data on upload simply by adding an additional request header when writing the object to Amazon S3. Decryption happens automatically when data is retrieved.

With the new version of CloudBerry Explorer the users can configure Server Side Encryption for existing objects and/or set Server Side Encryption as a global option to apply to all new uploads. Furthermore the users can selectively apply encryption for certain buckets and objects only under certain conditions using the Upload Rules feature.

CloudBerry Explorer is designed to work on Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003/2008. Microsoft PowerShell command line interface allows advanced computer users integrate Amazon S3 storage access with other routines.

CloudBerry Explorer for Windows is a freeware. CloudBerry Explorer PRO costs $39.99 (US). You will continue to pay Amazon for their S3 charges.
