IBM: Fiscal 3Q11 Financial Results

Storage hardware and software revenues grew 12% from 3Q10.

IBM Corp. announced the financial results for its third-quarter 2011 ended September 30, 2011.

Here is the few comments by the company concerning storage, with percentages applying from 3Q10 to 3Q11: "Tivoli software grew 8%, driven by strong performance in storage management. Storage hardware revenue grew 8% year-to-year, with constant contributions from both disc and tape. When combined with storage software, total storage grew 12% this quarter."
