Earns Dell re-certification.
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 13, 2011 at 2:54 pmVeeam Software announced that the Veeam nworks Management Pack for VMware has been re-certified by the Dell Technology Partner Program.
Veeam’s product provides VMware monitoring and management via Microsoft System Center. The certification, first earned in 2009, assures Dell customers that the Veeam nworks MP continues to meet Dell’s standards for integration with Dell OpenManage systems functionality. Veeam, a Bronze Sponsor of Dell World, will showcase its full product line this week in the Innovation in the Data Center pavilion.
The Veeam nworks Management Pack for VMware provides scalable, fault-tolerant and agentless VMware infrastructure monitoring and management directly in Microsoft System Center, eliminating the need for a separate monitoring framework. Administrators have a view of the entire IT infrastructure, so problems can be identified and escalated to the correct team to speed problem resolution and minimize impact on users.
"The continued certification of the Veeam nworks MP underscores the value that Dell places on customer satisfaction and service, and reinforces our commitment to provide the best tools for monitoring, managing and recovering virtual infrastructures," said Alec King, Director of Product Management for nworks, Veeam Software. "The solution allows Dell customers to protect their investments in Microsoft System Center and manage both physical and virtual environments from one console. This is a value-add for both Dell and Veeam customers."
"Veeam shares our commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, and together we provide solutions that simplify the management of multiple platforms, applications and IT services," said Bharath Vasudevan, Global Alliances Director, Dell. "With the re-certification, Dell validates that the Veeam nworks Management Pack performs to Dell standards and helps enhance the manageability of Dell platforms."
