Hosting Ireland announced the launch of its online backup service CloudBox.

CloudBox allows customers to automatically backup and store all their files -including documents, photos, videos and any other type of files to their secure Cloud storage.

CloudBox delivers peace of mind for any size of business or even for personal files. It’s fast, secure and easy to use and offers unlimited storage, with a starting price of €4.95. In addition, you can share your files with other computers and access them online or from your iPhone, iPad or Android device.

"Every year around 50% of computers in Ireland loose data of some sort or another and small businesses just can’t afford to take this kind of risk. In addition, trying to put a price on lost family photos and video is impossible," says Jonathan Bate, Managing Director.

Unlike other online storage providers, which are purely web-based, CloudBox offers customers a software application that can be installed on any computer, allowing them to access their CloudBox storage as a normal drive – just like a USB stick or external hard drive. The application monitors your files as you work and automatically saves them as new files are created.
