StorageCraft Technology Corporation and Datto Inc. have joined forces to offer a backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solution combining two products, StorageCraft ShadowProtect technology and Datto’s SIRIS.

ShadowProtect provides disaster recovery, data protection and system migration to get servers online as quickly as possible. It delivers recovery from bare metal to dissimilar hardware or to and from virtual environments. It also has tools to centrally manage point-in-time backup images and restore them in of minutes. The management console allows for simultaneous push installs of ShadowProtect to all Windows servers from a centralized location.

Datto’s SIRIS is a BDR solution specifically designed for MSPs and VARs. SIRIS is gaining momentum in the channel and has earned Best New Product recognition at both ASCII Chicago and Boston Success Summits this year. SIRIS simplifies and streamlines the backup process by eliminating the traditional backup chain and converts data straight to .vmdk files. SIRIS is a BDR solution offering instant on- and off-site virtualization, backup verification and business continuity.
