Infortrend Supporting Intel SSD 710

Infortrend Technology, Inc. announced that small-form-factor storage systems in the EonStor DS family now support the newly released Intel Solid-State Drive 710 Series of enterprise SSDs.

By incorporating these SSDs into their storage environments, SMBs can enhance the IOPS of their systems to meet demand of performance, mission-critical applications, while improving their ability to handle shock and vibrations.

Intel SSD 710 Series drives are available in capacities of 100GB, 200GB and 300GB for users of professional IT systems. EonStor DS models supporting the Intel SSDs include all small-form-factor models (accommodating 2.5-inch drives) that feature 6Gb/s SAS drive-side connectivity.
