Nine Technology To Upgrade Powered By Nine Software

Nine Technology, developer of online backup and recovery solutions for managed service providers and data center managers, announced its plans to upgrade the Powered By Nine software and configuration in October.

The software update includes several enhancements to the user experience, including a revised and simplified signup and configuration process, a more intuitive and cleaner user interface, and the revision of data deletion procedures.

The upgrade, which is scheduled to take place during the second week of October, will offer Nine Technology’s existing partner base an opportunity to review their sales and marketing processes to refine them for the new software release. Marketing advice and materials remain available to all Powered By Nine resellers, and this update is a time for partners to peruse and customize the available collateral material.

"Releasing this latest version of the Powered By Nine software will strengthen our partners’ ability to promote their branded online backup service," said Tom Gelson, CEO of Nine Technology. "The new features in this release will also greatly benefit our data center partners by affording them a greater control over the amount of data their solution protects."

Powered By Nine online backup and recovery solutions are currently resold by nearly 200 channel partners, with growth expected throughout the remainder of the calendar year. Nine Technology is seeking data center managers and major managed service providers interested in hosting a Powered By Nine Platform infrastructure.

The new features in the October release will serve Platform partners well by simplifying the vault expansion procedures and streamlining the signup process for both reseller and end-user.
