The ruggedized version of the IMSolo-4 Hard Drive Forensic Duplicator features the same performance, flexible image formats and reliability as the original hand-held design. The unit is built into a shock absorbent case, featuring Cable-Free SAS/SATA connectors with ‘slide-in’ hard drive slots for suspect and evidence Drives.
"This new mobile addition to the IMSolo-4 Forensic family of data acquisition devices is suited for the day-to-day use by busy Forensic Investigators as well as military personnel working in extreme environments," states Ezra Kohavi, President of ICS. "The unit is simple to transport, set-up and to use and offers the highest standards of digital forensic technology."
Furthermore, the Image MASSter Solo-4 Forensic Ruggedized can be purchased with an optional Rechargeable Compact Battery Kit to enable the device to be used in the field where power source is unavailable or unstable.
Additionally, an optional Expansion Box can be used with the Forensic Duplicator to add SCSI, Firewire and Express Card Interface support. It allows connection of up to 2 Firewire Drives and up to 3 SCSI drives and supports connecting a range of Express Card compliant cards, such as Express Card USB 3.0 cards used to connect USB 3.0 mass storage devices. The Forensics Investigator can customize the Expansion Box by adding 3rd party PCIe cards such as 10Gbit NIC cards to add high speed 10Gbit Network interface support.
