SFTP Net Drive by UK Company EldoS

Free Windows application to represent remote SFTP storage as local disk drive

EldoS Corporation announces SFTP Net Drive, free application for Windows to represent remote SFTP storages as local disk drives.

SFTP Net Drive lets access remote servers (or other data storages with a hierarchical file structure) via secure SFTP protocol. Remotely located files become accessible to you via virtual local disk, which appears on the computer among other drives and has its own drive letter.

With SFTP Net Drive you can work with remote files in a usual way: by using of Windows Explorer or by any other application on your computer. Create new files or modify them, delete or edit existing files, or execute remotely stored applications as if those files were stored on local disk drive.

SFTP Net Drive is targeted at non-technical users, who need an intuitive interface to establish a permanent connection to remotely located files and make them accessible through local virtual drive.

According to Ken Ivanoff, President: "There are few commercial solutions on the market for doing nearly the same, but they have much more sophisticated interface and require purchasing. We decided to make life happy for numerous people who need to access their remote files in a secure and handy way. This is why we developed SFTP Net Drive and made it free."

Performing a simple function, SFTP Net Drive has several technologies under the hood, which are implemented using software components produces by EldoS Corporation. Namely, SecureBlackbox brings SFTP protocol implementation and Callback File System allows to create a virtual file system with remote files.
