KOM Networks i-Gateway

KOM Networks, provider of storage management solutions for secure archiving, compliant data protection and retention, announced the KOMpliance i-Series Archive Gateway.

The i-Gateway allows companies to add a secure archive repository using their iSCSI SAN storage. This new solution will reduce expenses, complexity, and admin costs associated with iSCSI storage while increasing compliance levels and archived data protection.

York Hospital in York, Maine recently replaced their EMC Centera with a KOMpliance i-Series Gateway to archive McKesson PACS (Picture Archive and Communications System) addressing HIPAA compliance and disaster recovery.
