Veeam and Astute Networks Partnering

Astute Networks Inc., in networked performance flash for VMware, and Veeam Software, in VMware data protection, disaster recovery and VMware management solutions, announced at VMworld 2011 a partnership that optimizes and bundles evaluation versions of Veeam’s virtualization management suite with every Astute Networks ViSX G3 VMware accelerator shipped.

The companies will engage in joint development for future product releases and other next-generation technologies to maximize the use of Veeam solutions with Astute’s ViSX platform. Additionally, both companies will engage in joint channel marketing programs including webinars, seminars, customer training, and the development of white papers for maximizing the investment in and operations of virtualized environments.

Astute Networks was demonstrating its ViSX G3 with Veeam Monitoring and Reporting at VMworld, Las Vegas.

ViSX G3, featuring Networked Performance Flash, is a VMware Ready Certified patented network-based appliance that eliminates I/O bottlenecks to accelerate server and desktop virtualization and cloud computing performance, and is shareable by all VMs over standard Ethernet networks.
