Mpstor Ltd. and EchoStreams Innovative Solution, LLC  have formed a partnership to provide solutions for data center and cloud
environments.

Mpstor’s open-platform storage management software
MPStackware combined with EchoStreams’ standards-based and purpose-built
hardware platforms help server and storage OEMs and solution integrators build
reliable, scalable, and cost effective infrastructure.

Open-platform Software Stack
MPStackware’s open-platform,
open-Application Programming Interface (API) product architecture allows it to
turn commodity disk arrays into data storage
systems while removing the fear of vendor lock-in. MPStackware’s open-API
facilitates integration with OpenStack and other data center operating systems,
permitting MPSTOR to provide complete data center and cloud computing
solutions.

Unlike proprietary storage
solutions which lack flexibility and are difficult to integrate with third
party applications, MPStackware’s open-API provides customers with the ability
to design plug-ins and gives customers control over their solutions by
supporting multiple host interconnects (FC, SAS, iSCSI, IB, CIFS), disk
protocols (SAS, SATA, FC) and media types (magnetic and SSD).
