MUSA’s Managed Disaster Recovery and failover site featuring Veeam is available to all clients who require value-driven off-site backup and storage of their mission-critical VMware virtual machines. MUSA will take an initial backup, perform incremental delta synchronization nightly, and in the event of a disaster will work quickly to mount each client’s essential backups at MUSA’s SAS 70 Type II datacenter. Upon restoration of business-critical systems at MUSA’s managed failover location, MUSA will work with each client to restore onsite functionality of the production environment using Veeam’s image-level backups. Companies in the Life Sciences industry who require regulatory compliance have the option for MUSA to deploy their failover location in accordance with FDA 21 CFR Part 820 quality system regulations and/or 21 CFR Part 11 electronic record standards.
