Bernd Loskamp EMEA VP, Syncsort

Syncsort has promoted 24-year company veteran, Bernd Loskamp, to the newly-created position of Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Reporting into Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Josh Rogers, Loskamp will be responsible for leading the sales and pre-sales engineering teams across the company’s EMEA operation.

Previously, Loskamp served as Managing Director for Central EMEA where he helped Syncsort expand its presence and grow revenues in Central and Eastern Europe.

Syncsort has also confirmed the appointment of Reinhard Zimmer to Manager of Distribution Partners, EMEA and Mario Werner as Senior Manager, Data Protection Sales, Northern and Central EMEA.

Zimmer, who has 14+ years of experience working at Syncsort within the company’s data protection portfolio, has played an important role in the relationships that Syncsort has recently announced with distribution partners in Europe including Avnet Technology Solutions, Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions and ALTIMATE Group. The new position builds upon the company’s commitment to its distributor and reseller partners.
 
In his first European-wide role, Werner will continue to be instrumental in driving data protection sales, including NetApp Syncsort Integrated Backup (NSB), for the company. Werner, who brings previous experience with other storage solution providers to his 7+ years at Syncsort has previously held positions in data protection sales for Syncsort in Central EMEA.
