Brocade Seeks Injunctive Relief Against A10 Networks

Allegations include theft of proprietary source code.

Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. filed a motion in the U.S. District Court in San Jose, CA requesting the Court to issue injunctive relief barring A10 Networks, Inc. from selling any products containing software code stolen from Brocade.

The motion presents evidence that the AX-Series application delivery controllers sold by A10 contain verbatim copies of portions of Brocade’s proprietary code.

The motion filing is part of Brocade’s ongoing action for copyright theft, trade secret misappropriation and patent infringement against A10, its CEO Lee Chen, its CTO Raj Jalan and other individually named defendants.

In the motion, Brocade asks the Court to prohibit A10, until trial, from making, selling, offering for sale or importing any products, including the AX-Series application delivery controllers, which contain the copied code.
