Active Circle and Promovisa
(Promotora de Video S.A.)
are announcing a commercial and technical partnership under which Promovisa
will integrate and sell Active
Circle storage and archive solutions to customers
in Spain.
Headquartered in Madrid,
Promovisa is present in Barcelona and Seville and has already
gained the confidence of customers in all sectors of the
media industry, from production to broadcast and distribution. The Active Circle
solution will complement Promovisa’s product portfolio by providing a way to
store and archive content on disk and LTO tape.
"Most of our customers switched to a digital workflow
and are now facing the challenge of storing and managing their content. Always
on the cutting edge of the IT-AV convergence, we were looking for a competitive
solution to virtualize all kinds of storage. Active Circle is a key player who
enables us to seamlessly achieve those needs," said Tomas Nielsen, Business
Director.
Headquartered in France,
Active Circle
extends its coverage of the EMEA region and its local presence by teaming up
with Promovisa in Spain.
This is part of Active Circle’s
strategy to accelerate its international expansion in 2011.
"Spain
is an important market for Active
Circle and we are very pleased to work with the leader
of broadcast and IT integration in this market. Together we will provide very
competitive solutions to help customers keep their content available and
secure," says Philippe Boyon, Marketing and Business Development director
at Active Circle.
