KeepVault.com Online Backup at 15 Cents Per GB

Proxure, Inc., developer of information backup and synchronization technologies for consumer and small/medium business users, announced new flat rate pricing of 15 cents per GB for their KeepVault Pro & Business customers.

Customers buy only what they need, from 40 Gigabytes up to 50 Terabytes, in 1 GB increments. There are no additional per-computer, per-server, or bandwidth fees.

KeepVault Online Backup has recorded a year-over-year subscriber growth of 80%. Rapid adoption of KeepVault Pro & Business by the small business community and IT resellers has allowed for storage cost reductions through increasing economies of scale. With the new pricing model, KeepVault lets businesses keep more of their hard-earned cash and still provides the same level of coverage as before. KeepVault Pro & Business is a choice for small business backup over competing products from Mozy, Carbonite, SOS Online Backup and CrashPlan.

iPhone and Mobile Device Web Access
Access to data via the web is included at no additional cost for ‘Pro & Business’ users. Now customers can access their files easily thanks to the enhanced mobile device interface, including a WebApp for iOS devices like the iPhone. Access files whenever you need; documents, spreadsheets, presentations, reports, etc.

Enhanced Administrator Control & Reporting
Ensuring data is secure and that backups are functioning successfully is of particular importance to business owners, where any loss of data can jeopardize their company. The KeepVault Pro & Business software ‘admin lock feature’ prevents unauthorized changes to settings that control, amongst other things, the what, when, where of backup, and how much bandwidth each device uses. These controls are now enhanced with the new ‘web-based administration console’ which provides an backup status report as well as health reports for each device being protected. The administrator or account owner can review (per device) the date of the last backup, last file protected, device status, number of files queued, size of backup queue, and the amount currently protected.
