Sales Up 63% for Sanbolic
Approaching 600 customers
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 18, 2011 at 2:54 pmSanbolic, Inc. announced a record quarter with revenue growth and new customer momentum. The introduction of Melio version 3.5 (v3.5) helped the company achieve 63% revenue growth and a 51% increase in average deal size over the same period last year. With the solid adoption in the quarter, total customer count is now approaching 600.
Brandbank, UK provider of brand content for multi-channel retailers, deployed Melio to ensure fast access, enhanced protection, and simplified management of its digital library of over three million images. "Bottom line, the Melio software solution ensured that any of our brand content clients, or their customers, could access any image even the same image, without delay and without interruption," said Jason Copsey, Infrastructure and Support Manager, Brandbank.
"Brandbank chose Melio because their customers demanded high-availability," said Eva Helen, Co-Founder, President and COO, Sanbolic. "Alternative solutions were too costly and complex. Melio eliminated the need to virtually duplicate the Brandbank image library infrastructure. Consequently, storage utilization increased to over 80% while server utilization increased to over 90%. Most importantly, since any file server can now access any image, the performance has dramatically improved placement and retrieval of images is immediate."
Helen continued: "The recent Melio v3.5 launch has had the strongest impact on sales activity of any major release in our history. We could not be happier with the initial customer and analyst community reception. Virtualization and increasingly dynamic application workloads are placing a considerable strain on existing IT infrastructures. Customers are looking for cost-effective solutions to these problems without added complexity. Sanbolic is uniquely positioned to address these challenges, delivering best-in-class solutions for the most pressing data management challenges: availability, scalability and performance. Heading into the second half of the year, we are extremely optimistic about the opportunities in front of us."
