Data Robotics Gives Away 150 Drobos
To support winning causes

contest, giving away 150 Drobos to original and compelling
contributions.
The contest drew more than 1,000 creative submissions in the
form of essays, videos, and collages. In the end, the community voted four
submissions best of the best.

"At the end of the day, it was just too close to call,
and too difficult to pick one winner or cause among the most popular entries.
Our four finalists graciously chose to forgo a runoff and simply share the
grand prize," said Tom Buiocchi, CEO at Drobo. "We are happy to see
our grand prize of 100 Drobos make not one but four world-changing ideas a
reality."
The What would you do with 100 Drobos? contest
began on May 4, 2011 and ended on June 17, 2011. Over 150 Drobos were given
away over the course of the contest, and winners have been notified.
