Proware EN-1403AH-ADC, Unified Storage System for SMBs

Proware Technology Corp. announced the proNAS EN-1403AH-ADC.

The EN-1403AH-ADC is a unified storage system that consolidates file-based and block-based access in a single storage platform and supports fibre channel, iSCSI, and NAS. It provides flexible, efficient and affordable way to add storage on the network.

EN-1403AH-ADC features 4 hot-swappable SATA hard drives in a 1U rack-mounted chassis. It also supports 6Gb/s 3TB SATA hard drives.

Built-in Intel Atom Dual Core processor, support up to 4GB DDR3 SDRAM and two Gigabit Ethernet ports for offers performance of NAS platform. Embedded OS design provides booting and reliability.

EN-1403AH-ADC is designed to satisfy the needs of storage and help SMBs increase productivity within their existing budget and space resources.

Data backup is important whether for businessman or individual users. With Proware’s proNAS software, multiple users can simplify and automate a continuous backup process. Users choose specific files or folders for backup during the set-up process. Any changes or additions made to files will be updated and backed up in an automatic and convenience way.

Proware unified storage systems can offer storage management and replication features. The EN-1403AH-ADC unified storage system can also be simpler to manage file-based and block-based applications than separate storage platforms. It is managed and configured by browser based software, including pre-configure disk capacity, users setting, volume management, quick installed on popular network platform, multi protocol support, etc.

The EN-1403AH-ADC equipped with hardware RAID engine to offer fault tolerant of data protection. It is a data protection supporting RAID levels 0, 1, 10(1E), 5, JBOD.

System reliability is ensured by an environmental monitoring unit, which tracks the enclosure temperature as well as individual disk temperatures. If any irregularity in these systems occurs, the monitoring unit alerts the administrator.
