Axcient Completes Integration of Backup and BC Platform
With ConnectWise
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 8, 2011 at 3:05 pmConnectWise, developer of business management solution for IT service providers, VARs, and MSPs, and Axcient, Inc., in data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery services for MSPs, VARs, and their SMB customers, announced they have completed integration of the Axcient solution with ConnectWise.
Axcient offers a hybrid service that combines an on-site appliance for backup, restore, and continuity of laptops, desktops, and servers, with off-site cloud replication for disaster recovery and compliance. The Axcient integration provides the status of all devices and can be configured to open a service ticket within ConnectWise when specific events occur, such as a backup failure. MSPs get a picture of backup status and other identified events for each individual device in a client’s environment, including Bare Metal Restore, device level events, Exchange mailbox events, network events, and offsite backup events. Event notifications are also fully configurable.
"This level of visibility allows MSPs to more proactively manage client IT environments and to manage more client environments overall," said Justin Moore, Axcient CEO. "The combination of Axcient’s best-in-class backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery solution and the industry-leading ConnectWise professional services automation software provides a clear advantage to our partners."
"Backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery are key technologies for managing a Modern Office, and IT service companies should offer these services to their clients," said Arnie Bellini, ConnectWise CEO. "This integration with Axcient will greatly assist partners who rely on Axcient to safeguard their clients’ data, and provide an easy entry for those who do not yet offer data protection."
The integration is available to all Axcient/ConnectWise partners at no additional charge.
