MaxTronic Shipping Nova 20 RAID Series

MaxTronic International Co., Ltd. is shipping the Nova 20 series of enterprise-class storage solutions.

The products come with 8Gb FC host interface, incorporates the Power PC 460SX processor, delivering an increase in performance and availability.

The series are with 2U compact rackmount enclosure hold 12 x SSD, SAS or SATA drives, and protect all data by RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, 6,10. With Graphic User Interface, quick setup procedure would help the non technical users to configure a basic storage setup in less than 5 steps.

The storage capacity can be scalable by connecting through mini SAS expander to JBOD enclosure. The I/O performance and capacity scalability, would allow managing redundancy and provisioning virtualization environment, for mid to large organizations’ on-line data access and backup.

Meanwhile, MaxTronic also released the new 5-year warranty policy for Nova Professional series. For any hardware problem within the first 3 years, MaxTronic will provide support, repair and replacement at free of charge. And continue to offer service with free labour for the 4th and 5th year, which customers only pay for cost for parts replacement.

In the coming month (July), MaxTronic will release new 3U x 16 platforms which covers more new technology interfaces like Nova 30 (8Gb FC x 16), Nova 36 (6Gb SAS x 16) and Nova 34 (JBOD). The new Nova Entry series which targeting for Video Surveillance application and SMB data management would be available soon. By the end of Q3, the product lines of Nova series including 10Gb iSCSI, 4U x 24 platforms would be ready for shipment.
