Vision Solutions Expands Distribution With Northamber

Vision
Solutions, Inc. has signed a
partnership with Northamber, the longest
established trade-only distributor of IT equipment in the UK.

They will be working together to distribute business continuity and
availability solutions based on IBM storage and the Double-Take range of data
replication products.

Under the
agreement, Northamber is including Vision Solutions’ Double-Take products
within overall high availability and disaster recovery solutions that will be
available as part of the IBM PowerNet Program, which is designed to help
partners sell into new opportunities at mid-market organisations.

UK sales
director at Vision Solutions, commented: "Working with Northamber allows
us to expand our partner base and the range of solution packages that we are
involved in. By using Double-Take products for IP replication, partners can
provide full solutions for business continuity and disaster recovery into their
existing customers, as well as making it easier to migrate these new customers
across to IBM storage."

All of the
Double-Take products will be covered as part of the deal, with the main focus
on a backup solution comprised of Double-Take RecoverNow and the IBM DS3500
storage platform. The combination of the
DS3500 and Double-Take RecoverNow ensures real-time data protection and reliable recovery across offices or oceans.
