IceWEB Receives Contract From Partner VideoBank

To be deployed overseas for Department of Defense Agency

IceWEB, Inc. announced that VideoBank, an IceWEB premier partner, has received another contract with the Department of Defense that includes IceWEB Unified Data Storage products.

VideoBank will integrate two 48 TB IceWEB FC Arrays into their Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The systems will be deployed in flight cases to the Middle East for remote sensor data capture.

DAM systems can handle massive amounts of content and unstructured data-particularly when that content includes video or audio files. DAM products can ingest, log, index, archive, display and distribute any type of digital file, making them for large government and corporate archives with complex workflow requirements.

"VideoBank DAM systems, featuring IceWEB Unified Storage Arrays, are helping customers in the DOD and elsewhere transform their digital archive visions into realities," said Tim McNamee, IceWEB Director of Federal Channels. "VideoBank’s integration and development teams work closely with their customers to design turnkey solutions according to the customer’s exact requirements. Their proprietary technology and fully integrated solutions have made VideoBank the market leader in the digital asset management industry."

IceWEB will deliver the FC Arrays to VideoBank during IceWEB’s fiscal third quarter which ends June 30, 2011.
