Toshiba Appoints Hammer

Toshiba Electronics Europe has announced the appointment of storage distributor Hammer plc to supply its range of solid state drives (SSDs).

The agreement, which begins with immediate effect, covers the whole of Europe. Hammer will target original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and system integrators in application areas including broadcast equipment, content storage solutions, and industrial and ruggedized PCs. The storage capacities and performance of Toshiba’s SSDs make them suitable for embedded applications that require high speed boot and access times, while the absence of moving parts protects against interruption of operation in challenging operating environments.

Hammer has been established for 20 years as a value-added distributor dedicated to the supply of storage products and solutions. As such, it has an extensive portfolio and an  a technical sales and support team that enables it to offer its customers the solutions for their data storage requirements. In addition to pre- and post-sales technical support Hammer also offers training and consultancy services.
