Coraid Inc. announced increased investment in resources in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The vendor currently counts over 350 customers in this region and has sold in over 40 countries worldwide. The company decided to formalise its efforts with a focussed European expansion strategy that includes the recent appointment of Marcos Burnett to the position of EMEA  Director, Sales and the opening of regional headquarters in the UK.

 Burnett was formerly Country Manager at ONStor UK at LSI ONStor, Sales Manager at Pillar Data Systems and Sales Executive at Network Appliance

Coraid solutions are targeted at mid-range and global 2000 organisations, government agencies, universities and MSPs, supporting use cases including virtualization, cloud services, high-performance computing, and video environments.
