Amazon.co.jp Distributing Synology

To Japanese users

Synology Inc. announces that Synology DiskStation, its NAS server dedicated to data sharing and backup, is now available at Amazon.co.jp.

In more than 70 countries, the DiskStation has become a gadget for backing up as well as sharing data, remotely accessing files on mobile devices, including iPad, iPhone, Android phones, streaming multimedia content, and more. With the extended reach to Amazon.co.jp, Synology is going to share the Synology NAS servers with more Japanese users.

"We are excited for Japanese customers to get their hands on Synology NAS servers and enjoy a myriad of functions provided," said Dennis Tang, sales manager of Synology Inc.

Synology NAS servers have been recognized in the U.S., Europe, and most APAC countries. Global media including CNET.com, U.S.A., PCMag, U.S.A.and Swiss IT Magazine awarded Synology for its products and services. Synology NAS servers are designed to be energy efficient, which not only reduces users’ energy bills but decreases the environmental impact of power use.

Running on all Synology NAS servers, Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system boasts a multitasking user interface, helping users work on multiple applications under one webpage and drag and drop files or icons around the page.

"Synology DSM is going to impress tech-savvy Japanese users with its intuitive interface, which will allow them to store and share digital content in an intimate and interactive way they’ve never experienced before," added Tang.
