VCE Expands Partner Program …

Four new distributors: Arrow, Avnet, Ingram Micro in USA, Magirus in Europe

VCE, the Virtual Computing Environment Company, announced the VCE Partner Program and official partnerships with four worldwide distributors. Both introductions mark channel momentum as the company extends market reach and provides additional incentives for partners.

VCE Partner Program
The VCE Partner Program leverages the benefits and incentives of Cisco, EMC and VMware channel programs while providing a one-stop-shop for promoting and reselling Vblock Infrastructure Platforms. The new program provides the VCE partner base with capabilities in one central place – increasing enablement, ease of doing business, and partner profitability.

Key features include:

  • Single point ordering and registration for the complete Vblock Infrastructure Platform solution
  • Incremental volume incentives
  • Stackable applicable back-end incentives from Cisco and EMC channel programs
  • Proposal-based MDF program
  • Role-based enablement training

"The VCE partner ecosystem, currently comprised of more than 120 best-of-breed partners globally, is experiencing steady and continuous growth with partner-led registrations doubling every quarter," said D Martin, Vice President of Global Channels, VCE. "Our new partner program and authorized distributors will help to address this growth and ultimately make it easier for partners to do business with us around the world."

The VCE Partner Program is now available to VCE partners in the North America, EMEA and APJ regions.

New Distributors
VCE has also announced new authorized distributors including Arrow, Avnet and Ingram Micro in the United States, and Magirus in Europe.

VCE partners that order the VCE Vblock Infrastructure Platform can choose one of these authorized distributors for ordering, support with order management, single-point ordering, financing and invoicing of the VCE Vblock Infrastructure Platform. In addition, partners will work with VCE to establish the correct configuration and price point of the platform, and will then place the order with the distributor of their choice.

"The new VCE partner program is the right program from a partner perspective and the first true integrated infrastructure stack program. It has single point of registration for Vblock platforms, and includes incentives from VCE that are stackable with the existing programs from Cisco, EMC and VMware. It is also a value-oriented program that complements our Go To Market. The Vblock platform accelerates the customer’s ability to deploy new IT infrastructure and the new program allows us to better deliver critical business outcomes to our clients," said Mark Hilz, President of INX Inc.http://www.inxi.com

"The idea that data center infrastructure should be viewed holistically is a philosophy that we have advocated for years," says Eric Bakker, CEO of CDI. "By streamlining the business process on the back end, the VCE partner program has enabled partners like CDI to focus on what matters; presenting a way for companies to capitalize on existing investments while laying the groundwork for a truly converged infrastructure. As a VCE partner, CDI can help make this vision a reality."
