Scale Computing Launches New Partner Program

Company's channel revenues grew 95% in the last 12 months.

Scale Computing launched a new partner program. A 100 percent channel organization, Partner Program offers resellers new market opportunities, significant profit margins, marketing programs, responsive support and zero conflict with channel partners.

"The rapid growth of our partner program signaled to us the need to create a more scalable program that not only strengthens the relationships with our partners but does even more to enable their success," said Peter Fuller, vice president of business development and marketing at Scale Computing. "We’ve restructured our program to make an even bigger commitment to our Preferred and Select Partners. We have made strong investments in technical training, product and industry education, and marketing programs to help our partners put Scale not only front and center in their storage virtualization deals but on top of the list. When compared to Dell and HP, our partner program and storage virtualization benefits will win every time."

Scale attributes the 95 percent growth in its partner program and its expansion to over 12 countries in the past year to the adoption of server virtualization by SMBs. As companies look to implement server virtualization for its cost savings and efficiencies, the cost of upgrading storage to support the virtual server environment prohibits many of these companies from being able to realize the benefit and payback of server virtualization initiatives.

Scale Computing builds storage to meet the new demands put on storage infrastructures when virtualizing the server environment. Using a scale-out architecture that can match the performance and versatility of the virtual server infrastructure, Scale Computing ensures virtualization is not stalled by underperforming storage. This storage technology is available at prices that enable small to medium-sized enterprises to embrace virtualization, not just for consolidation cost savings, but also for improved availability and more dynamic IT service delivery.

Scale’s Partner Program now has four partner levels: Preferred, Select, Choice and Engaged. All partners will receive technical training, access to the Scale partner portal and onboarding support. The highest level of partners, Preferred Partners, will also receive a credit in the Partner Opportunity Guide for joint marketing programs and resources, a marketing roadmap, marketing development funds, and Scale generated leads.

"Scale offers a solution that is complementary to virtual server environments. It allows users to cost effectively upgrade the storage environment with a flexible solution that can scale and grow with the server environment," said Terri McClure, a senior analyst at Enterprise Strategy Group. "This upgrade to the channel program should be a welcome change for channel partners who need further education on how storage can be configured to better enable a higher rate of payback on virtualize server initiatives, and in turn will allow them to grow their business and increase revenue."

All of Scale’s storage products for virtualization and archiving feature the company’s Intelligent Clustered Operating System (ICOS), a pay as you grow, scale-out storage operating system combining features with intelligence that makes storage easy-to-manage and reduces the cost of implementing server and desktop virtualization.
