This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 25, 2011 at 2:44 pmIceWEB, Inc. announced that its line of storage products are available to Federal, State and Local Governments through Promark Technology‘s two-tier GSA Services Agreement.
The agreement empowers government buyers to purchase authorized products from Promark’s 1,200 plus VARs and system integrators at pre-negotiated terms, conditions and pricing.
The General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules Program serves as the catalyst for billions of dollars in annual federal government spending. The Department of Defense (DOD) spends the most, about 70%; the rest is spent by civilian agencies such as the Department of Commerce, Treasury, Agriculture, etc.
"GSA schedules are the favored purchasing mechanism for most federal buyers and an ideal contract vehicle for our resellers to utilize," stated John R. Signorello, IceWEB CEO. "Having our products on Promark’s GSA schedule simplifies and streamlines the purchasing process. Government buyers save time and money. IceWEB resellers enjoy broader exposure and shorter sales cycles."
Dale Foster, Promark Technology President, stated: "The IceWEB product line now has an established Federal footprint. Adding the products to our GSA schedule was the next logical step to build broad exposure to our Federal Channel partners."
