Axentra HipServ Home Cloud Media Platform Reaches 400,000 Users Worldwide

HipServ is now on target to reach 1 million home users by the end of 2011 and will be used in millions of household electronic devices such as gateways, routers, media-hubs, NAS and set-top-boxes in the next 24 months.
Axentra’s HipServ is a trend setting solution that provides consumers with a home cloud experience. Home users can finally manage, safeguard, play and securely share all their personal digital media from the secure confines of their home. The HipServ home cloud platform allows users to play and share their photos, videos and music wirelessly to any connected device such as iPads, iPhones, Android tablets and smartphones, smart TVs, as well as DLNA enabled devices such as TVs, media players and gaming consoles like the Xbox360 and the PS3 via the Internet. HipServ offers aggregation, synchronization, streaming and broadcasting of personal digital media from home to social media sites such as Facebook.
Available in 16 languages, HipServ is now offered by networking and storage OEMs and Telco partners such as Netgear, Seagate and Europe’s Orange among others. Several new partners will be announced over the next few months.
