Dr. Srinidhi Varadarajan CTO, AppAssure

AppAssure Software has added Dr. Srinidhi Varadarajan as the company’s chief technology officer.  

 Srinidhi is a technologist for advanced high performance computing environments and an expert in scalable storage sub-systems including global deduplication, storage retention algorithms and encryption technologies.
 
"Dr. Varadarajan will lead our research and development team of nearly 50 engineers to extend our technology lead in the market," said Najaf Husain, president and chief executive officer at AppAssure Software Inc. He will focus their efforts on next generation innovations around the cloud and virtualization to better serve our customers and managed solutions provider partners. We are honored to have him on board."
 
Dr. Varadarajan has over 15 years of experience architecting and building advanced high performance computing environments, scalable file systems and storage subsystems. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of New York, Stony Brook in 2000, and is currently the Director of the Center for High-End Computing Systems at Virginia Tech and an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
