Backup My Info! Offers Transition Program for Iron Mountain Customers
With two months of free backup
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on May 13, 2011 at 3:29 pmResponding to the uncertainty of Iron Mountain‘s public cloud storage business, Backup My Info! (BUMI) will offer former Iron Mountain customers two months of online data backup service at no cost.
Through the program, Iron Mountain customers will be afforded two months of free access to BUMI services, including online data backup, disaster recovery, data backup maintenance and testing, and round-the-clock customer service – all under the hybrid cloud model of data backup which combines the expediency of local data backup and the flexibility of cloud-enabled data backup.
"Iron Mountain customers have been left in the lurch," said Jennifer Walzer, CEO of Backup My Info! "We are providing them not only a path for data migration but also security and peace of mind. We have already made BUMI converts out of former Iron Mountain customers through our obsessive customer service and hyper-personalized approach. We believe we’ll make many more."
"There just is no comparison between BUMI and Iron Mountain," said Dan Beaumont of Girard Equipment. "We selected BUMI over Iron Mountain because they listened to all of our needs and then developed a personalized data backup and disaster recovery plan specific to our business and our concerns. BUMI takes a proactive approach to customer service, anticipating issues, devising courses of action and communicating that back to us promptly and in a language we understand."
In order to redeem the two months of data backup services, program participants must verify their status as a former Iron Mountain customer, and are required to sign a 12-month agreement. Prior to contractual agreement, BUMI will offer consultations and an audit of current systems.
